About the Role

The SMR division is a fast-growing part of our organization, dedicated to delivering planned, structured repair and servicing directly to our members, whether at their driveway or workplace car park. This role is distinct from traditional roadside rescue, focusing on scheduled jobs without emergency callouts or unpredictable shifts.

What You Can Expect

Your day will begin with a clear digital schedule of pre-booked jobs, allowing you to:

• Perform routine servicing
• Conduct diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
• Carry out in-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
• Provide member advice and recommendations based on inspections
• Conduct vehicle safety checks aligned with our standards

With a fully equipped van, fuel card, uniform, and tools at your disposal, you'll have everything you need to deliver quality work efficiently.

What You’ll Need

• Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Working Conditions

• 40 hours per week with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
• 1 in 4 Saturdays required
