SEND Inclusion Officer
£26–£28 per hour (Umbrella) (£20-22 PAYE exclusive)
37 hours per week
3-month initial contract
Hybrid working (2 days office / 3 days home) A local authority in the East Midlands is seeking three experienced SEND Inclusion Officers to support a busy statutory SEND service, with a primary focus on annual reviews of EHCPs. This is a high-volume caseload environment, with approximately 250 cases per officer, requiring strong organisation, confidence in statutory processes, and the ability to work effectively at pace with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities:
Manage and complete EHCP annual reviews within statutory timescales
Handle a high-volume caseload independently
Liaise with schools, families, and professionals to support outcomes for children and young people with SEND
Ensure accurate and timely case recording and documentationEssential Requirements:
Proven experience in SEND Inclusion / EHCP casework
Strong understanding of EHCP annual review processes
Experience managing high caseloads in a local authority setting
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlinesSystems Experience:
