A successful and inclusive secondary school in Ashby-de-la-Zouch is looking to appoint a committed Teacher of English to join its vibrant English department from January 2026 .
The Role
You will teach English across KS3 and KS4 , delivering a curriculum that balances classic literature with modern texts and a strong emphasis on literacy. The department prioritises reading, vocabulary development and structured writing, with shared schemes of work providing consistency and support.
There is scope to contribute to enrichment such as reading groups, creative writing clubs or theatre trips, all of which are well established and popular with students.
